Few questions on patron website that you use .
Say 10 people donate 10 dollar totalling upto 100 dollar it is said that u have to wait a "certain time" like 3month/6month before you get to access that money ?
Do websites like this take a share ? some say 30 percent goes to these people and u get taxed on each donation.
if they find work offensive / bad / misleading they get to hold/stop access to ur money in patron.
Am hearing they are censoring and holding payment too.

We have three options; we can either transfer the $$ directly and manually to our bank account, or we can hoard it until the end of the month and Patreon transfers the $$ automatically to the bank account on the 1st every month. Or we could do neither and just let the money sit on Patreon as long as we want. 2. Yes, they take a share. If I remember correctly, I think they take around 10-15% of each donation (not sure about the exact amount) up to a certain ceiling limit. If someone, for example, donate $1,000, they don't take $100-150. I think the ceiling is something like $20 per donation. And yes, we get taxed on the original amount. 3. Yes, they have rules, just like YouTube and PayPal, etc. But, according to current policies (both on YT, Paypal, and Patreon), we are not considered breaking their rules. Also, we try to be careful--we know there are certain words we should avoid on YT, for example. 4. We have not heard anything about that they are holding payments, unless that's something they've started just recently. HOwever, one would think we would have gotten updates from Patreon, if that was the case. To be allowed to register a Patreon account, one has to fill out a W9 form first for tax purposes, so people don't just hide this income from the IRS.
