Here is a link to the missing scene description from eyes wide shut. I haven’t seen this material before describing how the character dancing with Nicole Kidman at the films beginning, is actually the leader of the cabal secret society.
If you do an internet search for the missing scenes, you will eventually find some information about pedophilia being one of the themes in this movie (among soooo many other things!). Kubrick really was "outing" the cabal with this movie.
Tom and Nicole's daughter in the movie is shown walking away with two older men in the toy store at the end. Those two men were shown to be part of the inner circle of cabal members earlier in the movie and also at the orgy scene. When the daughter walks off with them, it is an implication that she is going to be given over to this group by her parents (willingly or unwillingly) as the price they have to pay to keep playing.
Nicole's character was also at the orgy scene, on the balcony, looking down during the ritual. She's wearing a mask and it's never revealed that she was also taking part in this group (coaxed into the group by the guy she danced with at the beginning of the movie).
It was also said that pedophilia was shown in one or more of the rooms during the orgy. It wasn't explicit, but it was suggestive enough to let the viewers know, without doubt, this was a regular part of the party scene. This is why the head movie guy had a fit that Kubrick included this in the movie, and he demanded that part be taken out. Some of it was considered tame enough to leave in, like the costume shop owner trying to pimp his underage daughter (who was very willing, if I recall). It is rumored that she was present at the orgy, as well, to tie in the idea that these kids end up in these situations because the parents sell them into it which would then be implied at the end with Tom and Nicole's daughter.
The movie wasn't just about Tom's character's journey into the dark side, it was hers (Nicole), too. They both participated. For some reason, her role was heavily edited, as well, to focus mainly on Tom's character. It made it seem like this was nothing more than a hyper-sexed, bored, doctor looking for a dangerous thrill, rather than this couple's initiation into the cabal's inner circle (which is what it was supposed to be). Kubrick put too much truth into the movie, obviously.
This is one of only two or three movies that I watched once and refused to watch ever again. Bad vibes in that movie. VERY bad. I can't even watch certain clips from it. *yuck*
